Herbal Tincture
An herbal tincture is a very specific combination of fresh or dried herbs, that have been submerged in a menstruum, whether it be alcohol, glycerin or apple cider vinegar.
Over the course of 4-6 weeks, the formulation is permitted to macerate, which allows the beneficial properties to be extracted from the herbs, into the menstruum. After the maceration period, the herbs are then strained away from the infused alcohol, and the liquid is then bottled, and ready for use.
Adaptogen
This adaptogenic formula includes basil and lemon, and is designed to aid in bringing the body back in balance by managing both physical and mental stressors. Basil is said to aid in lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and possesses anti-inflammatory properties associated with joint pain and arthritis. Whereas, lemon is proven to be detoxifying, uplifting and can aid in better digestion, as well as, weight loss.
A few drops under the tongue is all that is needed, up to 3 times daily.
